University Center For Research participated in managing the research development and fundraising for new cutting edge software for wind farm layout optimization. In 2016 the software has been validated by industry partners and ready to be deployed.

The new software uses Computational Dynamics Modeling and Algorithms that are critical for energy generation for a wind farm.

The new software increases the power generation all over the wind farm. With help of this software the backrow turbines can generate 70% more power. The new technology identifies multiple optimal wind farm layouts with accuracy comparable to that of today's most sophisticated LES models in just a few hours.
